2/25-2/27 Report: Another great Benzie weekend! Where was everyone again? This past weekend we rode around Benzie County and experienced nothing but polite, courteous riders. We were on a family trip. This involves us riding 15-25mph for the whole day. Now last time we were in the U.P. this didn't go so well. Bad experiences, no need for details, we're just not going back as a family until the kids are much older and can do at least 35mph on straightaways...probably 4+ years. But the past 3 trips in the lower have been great! Even the guys in a hurry slow down, give plenty of room when passing both ways and slow when passing while we are stopped. It was a great weekend! Trails were thin late Saturday, that sun is really intense this time of year, even when it's cold on the mecury, the snow melts fast! We rode back roads late in the day and evening. But the news says winter is coming back all week to the NWL.
